       Eva Antonini nasce a Rapperswil (Svizzera), luogo d’infanzia e di adolescenza. Fin da bambina si denota in Eva una naturale predisposizione a plasmare la creta, materia che più tardi avrà la sua predilezione nella creazione di sculture di medio e grande formato.
       Dal 1981 al 1985 vive a Ginevra, dove muove i primi passi nel mondo del lavoro, seguendo la sua varia e complessa formazione: gli studi linguistici; il canto, la musica e la danza; un orizzonte di viaggi (soggiorni in Inghilterra, Italia e Stati Uniti con tappe nel Medio ed Estremo Oriente).
       Nel 1985 si trasferisce nel Canton Ticino con l’intento di approfondire le sue conoscenze linguistiche, in particolare dell’italiano e dell’inglese.
       Dal 2002 entra definitivamente nella passione e nella scelta della vita artistica.
Nel suo percorso acquisisce nozioni fondamentali nei materiali quali la creta, il gesso, l’alabastro e il marmo. Insieme a corsi di specializzazione  frequenta gli atelier di maestri scultori quali Oreste e Antonio Quattrini, Giorgio Eros Morandini, Giovanni Cimatti.
       Nel 2003 partecipa alle prime esposizioni collettive e nel 2005 ottiene un premio per la scultura dalla Biennale Internazionale di Arte Contemporanea di Firenze.
       Nel 2006 riceve il suo primo incarico per la creazione di una scultura in bronzo destinata ad uno spazio all’aperto.
       Nel 2010 e 2012, alcune delle sue opere vengono selezionate per l’esposizione al Carrousel du Louvre, a cui fa capo la Società Nazionale di Belle Arti di Parigi.
Il suo curriculum espositivo spazia dalla Svizzera all’Italia,  alla Francia e agli USA.

      Eva Antonini was born in Rapperswil (Switzerland), the place of her childhood and adolescence. As a young girl, Eva reveals a natural proneness for molding clay, matter that later will be privileged in the creation of sculptures of medium and large dimensions.
      From 1981 to 1985 she lives in Geneva, where she takes her first steps in the working world, following her diverse and complex education: language studies; singing, music and dance; a horizon of journeys (stays in England, Italy and United States with stops in the Middle and Far East). In l985 she moves to the Canton Ticino with the intention of refining her linguistic knowledge, particularly in Italian and English.
      From 2002 she definitely plunges into the passion and choice of an artistic life. Along the way she acquires fundamental knowledge on such matters as clay, plaster, alabaster and marble. Together with specialization courses, she attends studios of master sculptors such as Oreste and Antonio Quattrini, Giorgio Eros Morandini, Giovanni Cimatti.
      In 2003 she takes part in the first collective exhibitions and in 2005 she is the recipient of a prize for sculpture at the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence. 
      In 2006 she receives her first commission for the creation of a bronze sculpture to be placed in an open space.
      In 2010 and 2012 some of her work is chosen for the exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre, headed by the National Fine Arts Society of Paris. Her expository curriculum ranges from Switzerland, to Italy, from France to the United States.
